Welcome to the London Region
The London Region Balloon Club (LRBC)is affiliated to the British Balloon and Airship Club - the governing body of the sport of Hot Air Ballooning in the United Kingdom.

Because of its location, members are drawn from London and the surrounding Counties. Members have launch sites in Kent, Essex, Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire. The majority of club pilots tend to fly in areas north of the M25.

The club has moved to a new venue The room is at 75 Cowcross Street which is right by Farringdon Station. There is a projector and screen and seating for up to 40. The downside is that there is no food or booze although there are tea and coffee making facilities. There are masses of pubs and eateries nearby.

It is intended for meetings to start at 7pm for a 7.30 lecture to end at 8.30. At the end of the business side of things attendees can disperse for food and there is an excellent eatery Three Compasses practically next door. They specialise in Thai food although there is an English menu. The Three Compasses is to be highly recommended.
